10th St – Santa Rosa

Project Type: Residential

Project Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Client: Homeowner

Scope of Work: The homeowner of the residence on 10th Street in Santa Rosa, CA, reached out to us directly to complete a specific scope of work. We began by upgrading the service from a 100A meter main panel to a 200A service. This involved removing the existing 100 amp main meter Panel. Following this, we installed a new riser and riser wire. To ensure the longevity of the installation, we also added roof flashing and a weather head. The next step was the installation of a new 200 amp service. To ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes, we installed a new ground rod and established a bond at the hot water heater. Once these steps were completed, we resupplied power to the existing 120A service in the house. This involved installing all new breakers, labeling the panel, and installing trim around the new panel as needed. After the installation, we conducted a thorough testing of all systems to ensure proper operation. In addition to the work done on the main house, we also ran a new 100A feed overhead to the garage from the main panel. This involved installing riser conduits with a weather head, strain reliefs, and conduits where needed. Inside the garage, we installed a sub panel and tied the existing circuits into this new garage panel. All work was completed to the homeowner's satisfaction. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our clients and look forward to assisting with any future electrical needs.
